The warm and welcoming ambiance of the historic dining room, and the cozy New England tavern, near Manchester VT, allows guests to relax and enjoy the food, the wine, and the friendly Southern VT hospitality. As a member of Vermont Fresh Network, we support as many local farms and businesses as possible, and our food includes the freshest ingredients. Our cuisine is uncomplicated, and bistro-style. It demonstrates classic culinary techniques and traditions, with regional Southern Vermont influences. To showcase Vermont’s four unique seasons, the menu changes frequently.

Saint Paddy's Day Buffet
There's no better place to mark the occasion than around a table at The Dorset Inn. On March 17th, we're celebrating with a traditional Irish buffet and live music from The Magically Delicious — an evening that calls for good food, good company, and staying a little longer than you planned.

The Garden Room
Our most diverse dining space! As this room is mostly windows, it provides a warm and inviting atmosphere with its natural lighting. This space transforms from a welcoming breakfast space, into an elevated dining room for dinner. The Garden Room is also our private dining room, which is frequently rented out for rehearsal dinners, family reunions, birthday parties, and much more!

The Dorset Tavern
With its signature plaid wall paper, and Danforth Pewter lanterns, this room is a fan favorite for our local guests. The space is small and intimate, creating an energetic atmosphere. Every seat in the room allows you to enjoy the wood burning fire place in the colder months. Grab a stool and enjoy the entertainment of our friendly bartenders as they shake up many cocktails!
