Dorset Theatre Festival
Founded in 1976, the Dorset Theatre Festival presents a professional Main Stage season at the historic Dorset Playhouse in Vermont, showcasing both new plays and classic works. Running from June through September, the Festival brings together leading theatre artists from across the country and has earned growing recognition for its acclaimed world and regional premieres. As the Boston Globe noted, it has become “a new destination for playwrights.”
