An Evening of Chamber Music & Dinner at The Dorset Inn
Wednesday, January 28
Presented by Manchester Music Festival
Join us at The Dorset Inn for a special winter evening featuring a live concert by the Rhodora String Quartet, followed by a three course dinner.
The concert begins at 6 p.m. and features two landmark 20th century works: Erwin Schulhoff’s Five Pieces and George Walker’s String Quartet No. 1. At 7 p.m., guests will enjoy a three course dinner in the Inn’s dining room. Dinner is $100 per person. Alcohol, tax, and gratuity are not included. A portion of proceeds will support Manchester Music Festival programming.
Founded in 2024, the Rhodora String Quartet is an award winning emerging ensemble and the first ensemble in residence at Manchester Music Festival in early 2026. Their name is inspired by Ralph Waldo Emerson’s poem celebrating beauty for its own sake, a philosophy reflected in their music.
